Real Business - Real Time

Pari vuotta sitten CeBITissä pilvipalvelut olivat uusinta uutta ja kuinka ollakaan, tälläkin kertaa pilvipalvelut olivat ratkaisu kaikkeen. Pientä huolta tuntui aiheuttavan vain tietoturva ja luottamus. CeBIT Global Conferences oli teemoitettu seuraavasti:

• ti 1.3.  ICT solutions for a better world
• ke 2.3.  Real Business – Real Time
• to 3.3.  Entertainment & Mobility:  Connecting real and virtual worlds
• pe 4.3.  Social Media: The art of conversation
• la 5.3.  Special Event -  The AppZone 

Valitettavasti olin messuilla vain keskiviikkona ja torstaina. Perjantain seminaaritarjonta vaikutti ainakin aiheiltaan kiinnostavimmalta. Toisaalta jos näyttelyosastojen tarjontaa miettii, niin siellä sosiaalinen media tarkoitti lähinnä webissä olevia Microsoft Office 10 -opetusohjelmatarjontaa.

Hamid Akhavan, Siemens: Five Megatrends Shaping Enterprise Communication and Collaboration – Open collaboration for social, mobile, wired, wireless and now cloud.

Paneelissa, jonka aiheena oli The importance of security, keskusteltiin tietoturvasta ja luottamuksesta pilvipalveluiden kannalta. Keskustelemassa olivat: Martin Gutberlet (Regional Vice President, Country Manager & Head of Sales Germany, Gartner), Natalya Kaspersky (Infowatch Chief Executive, Chairperson of the Board of Directors Kaspersky Lab), Richard Marko (Chief Executive Officer, ESET), Dr. Georg Rau (Executive Vice President MAIL Product & Operations E-Postbrief, Deutsche Post AG),  Dr. Joachim Schaper (Vice President Research AGT Germany) ja Eddy Willems (Global Security Offi cer & Security Evangelist, G Data Software AG).

Volker Smid, Managing Director, Hewlett Packard Germany: Seize the Instant – In a mobile, connected, immediate world it takes an Instant-On Enterprise to compete.

Parker Harris, Co-Founder & Executive Vice President, Technology and Products, salesforce.com: The Cloud 2: Social, Mobile and Real-Time.

Toisen keskustelun (Cloud Computing Summit) aiheena oli The power of clouds: The big players in Cloud Computing. Keskustelemassa olivat Prof. Dieter Kempf (Chairman of the Executive Board DATEV eG), Michael Diemer (Chief Executive Officer, IBM Deutschland GmbH,  General Manager IBM Global Technology Services, Deutschland, IBM), Andre Kiehne (Vice President Services, Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH), Sébastien Marotte ( Vice President Enterprise EMEA, Google), Christian Morales (Vice President General Manager, EMEA INTEL CORPORATION) ja Paul Strong (Chief Technology Officer, EMEA, VMware).
